Radiesse Filler

What are Fillers?

Dermal fillers, such as Radiesse filler, are safe and effective treatments that are used to fill in areas of volume loss and deep folds on the face.  Although folds, such as nasolabial folds (smile lines), are present in childhood, they tend to get deeper with age.  Additionally, it is normal to experience volume loss in the midface during the aging process.  These occurrences can lead to sunken, hollow cheeks and deep smile lines as the aging process unfolds.  Radiesse can be used to replenish lost volume in the cheeks and fill in nasolabial folds that have become unnecessarily deep over time.

Radiesse for Anti-Aging

Radiesse is one of the most exciting dermal fillers, due to its excellent ability to both fill in deep lines and add volume to areas of volume depletion.  Radiesse is composed of an ingredient called calcium hydroxylapatite, which is used to both add volume itself and stimulate your own production of collagen in the skin.  The result is improved contouring of the face without the need for surgery.  Stimulation of the body’s own collagen is one of the reasons that Radiesse lasts longer than many other dermal fillers; it stays in place for over a year after a single treatment.

Where to Have Radiesse Treatment

The most commonly treated areas with Radiesse are the nasolabial folds and the midface.  Radiesse is an excellent filler, meaning that it can soften deep nasolabial folds in a natural and youthful way.  It is also an excellent volumizer, meaning that it can replace volume in the cheeks and midface that has been lost as a result of the normal aging process.  Radiesse can be used in other areas as well; many women find that it is a wonderful method of smoothing out the veiny appearance of aged hands.

What to Expect During Radiesse

Your Radiesse appointment will begin with a consultation, in which we will discuss your goals for treatment and the best way to treat the needs of your skin.  Prior to beginning the treatment, we may apply a thin layer of numbing cream to your skin. However, even without numbing cream, Radiesse is quite painless due to the numbing ingredient that is mixed into the filler itself.  The treatment takes approximately 15 minutes and consists of a short series of small injections into the skin.  Ice is applied to the treated area immediately after the treatment, in order to prevent mild swelling or bruising.  The effects of Radiesse treatment can be appreciated immediately, though the appearance improves over time as collagen continues to be stimulated.

How Much Does Radiesse Cost?

The cost of Radiesse varies by the area being treated; some areas require a very small amount of Radiesse to deliver a dramatic anti-aging effect and some areas require a larger treatment.  Radiesse is an excellent treatment for both men and women who want to fill in very deep folds or improve the appearance of areas of volume loss due to the natural aging process.  The Radiesse literally fills in the area of volume loss, while stimulating collagen production in the skin to volumize areas of volume depletion.  Radiesse filler is an excellent option for anyone who would like to improve the contouring of their face, in order to look both more youthful and rejuvenated.

Treatment with Radiesse

Radiesse is a dermal filler, composed of an ingredient called calcium hydroxylapatite.  It is placed into the skin via a small series of injections, in order to fill in lines on the face and volumize areas of natural volume depletion.  Since Radiesse not only fills in lines, but also stimulates your body’s own collagen production, it lasts longer than many other dermal fillers.  A single filler treatment with Radiesse can enhance your appearance by replenishing lost volume for over one year.  Radiesse filler for filling and volumizing provides a natural and long-lasting anti-aging option for both women and men.
