Patricia Breitung, MS, A.N.P. has over 25 years of dermatology experience and she is dedicated to promoting patient education regarding skin cancer prevention and healthy skin care practices.

She completed her undergraduate work at the University of Rochester School of Nursing and graduated magna cum laude. She also received her Master’s degree in Nursing and Adult Nurse Practitioner from the University of Rochester School of Nursing.

Patricia Breitung, MS, A.N.P. has over 25 years of dermatology experience and she is dedicated to promoting patient education regarding skin cancer prevention and healthy skin care practices.

She completed her undergraduate work at the University of Rochester School of Nursing and graduated magna cum laude. She also received her Master’s degree in Nursing and Adult Nurse Practitioner from the University of Rochester School of Nursing.

Her special interests include treatment of psoriasis, acne, and management of challenging skin disorders. As a nurse practitioner, Tricia has lectured on the topic of the safety of biologics for the National Foundation of Psoriasis and has served as an advisory board member for treatments used to treat psoriasis, acne, and skin cancers for many pharmaceutical companies. She serves as a clinical instructor and preceptor for nurse practitioner students from the University of Rochester and St. John Fisher. Tricia has served as the treasurer of the Dermatology Nursing Association (Chapter #28), is a member of the Dermatology Nurses Association, American Nurses Association, Sigma Theta Tau, and is certified with the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
