About Lara Farhat, DO
Dr. Farhat is a board-certified allergist and immunologist at Schweiger Dermatology Group.
She is committed to providing excellent care to patients of all ages for a variety of allergic and immunologic conditions, including seasonal allergies, food allergies, hives, eczema and asthma. Dr. Farhat values a patient-centered approach with the goal of applying the latest evidence-based medicine combined with quality-of-life improvement to provide the best outcome.
Dr. Farhat graduated summa cum laude from Rutgers University and attended medical school at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency at New York Medical College-St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center followed by a pediatric pulmonology fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center and an allergy and immunology fellowship at SUNY Downstate Medical Center.
