About Eugene Whang, MD
Dr. Whang is a board-certified dermatologist at Schweiger Dermatology Group.
He has provided comprehensive skin care since 1998. He is on staff as an assistant clinical professor in dermatology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Columbia University Medical Center.
Dr. Whang received his medical degree from the George Washington School of Medicine, where he was awarded the Alec Horowitz Memorial Fund and was elected to membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. After medical school, he completed an internship in internal medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and completed his residency training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he served as chief resident during his final year.
2018 - 2024
During his training, Dr. Whang did research at the George Washington School of Medicine and National Institutes of Health, and his work has been published in medical journals. He is currently a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and is certified by both the American Board of Dermatology and the National Board of Medical Examiners.
Dr. Whang has been named as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor each year since 2018 till 2024.
