Cosmetic Treatments for Brides
From weddings to proposals, summertime is made for brides! If getting hitched is in your near future, then here are the cosmetic treatments you’ll want to keep on your radar.
Six Months Before
CoolSculpting
Many brides-to-be seek out body-sculpting treatments in order to fit into their dream wedding dress or look amazing in their bikini during their honeymoon. CoolSculpting is a non-invasive method that uses a cooling technology to permanently rid of fat in stubborn areas like the upper arms, double chin and love handles.
When to do it?
Full results can take up to three months to take effect, so plan accordingly.
Microneedling
There are tons of at-home microneedling devices, but in-office microneedling goes deeper than anything you’ll be able to do on your own. Says Dr. Michele Farber: “Microneedling works by stimulating collagen, resulting in smaller pores, reduction in fine lines, and improvement in scars to give a beautiful skin tone and texture."
When to do it?
For best results, 1-3 sessions of microneedling are recommended and should be done at least three months prior to the big day.
Clear + Brilliant Laser
Clear + Brilliant is a proactive, gentle laser treatment that helps fight and prevent signs of aging. It’s great for discoloration, fine lines, wrinkles. Each treatment helps improve skin quality, texture, tone and reduces pore size.
When to do it?
For best results 6 treatments are recommended every 4 weeks.
Laser Hair Removal
Wouldn’t it be nice to be smooth and hair free prior to your wedding and honeymoon? Laser hair removal is a terrific option. Each pulse of the laser takes only a fraction of a second and targets many hairs at the same time. Most patients have permanent hair loss after approximately three to seven sessions.
When to do it?
You should begin your laser hair removal treatments at least six months prior to your wedding.
Four Months Before
Chemical Peel
Perfect for mild skin imperfections or for a quick skin “pick me up” and for a beautiful, natural glow before the big day, chemical peels are safe for all skin types.
When to do it?
For the biggest impact, a series of three peels is recommended, spaced four weeks apart. However, even just one peel will give your skin a gorgeous glow. You should schedule your last peel appointment four weeks before the big day.
One Month Before
Hydrafacial
The Hydrafacial treatment removes dead skin cells and extracts impurities while simultaneously bathing the new skin with cleansing, hydrating and moisturizing serums. Skin is instantly glowing after.
When to do it?
It’s best to do this treatment the week before your wedding.
