TPF 50: The Important New Skincare Ingredient You Need to Know About

We all know what SPF is and how important it is to apply it religiously. But there’s a new sun screening ingredient that’s proving to be even more effective than traditional sun blockers. There’s a new topical product called TPF (Triple Protection Factor), that is showing promising results in complete sun protection. TPF contains a very unique combination of restorative and protective ingredients, including antioxidants, DNA enzyme complex and broad spectrum SPF 50 physical sun protection.

In the latest issue of Journal of Drugs and Dermatology, a published clinical study puts TPF head to head with other ingredients containing traditional SPF in combination with antioxidants and other DNA protecting ingredients. The findings showed that TPF was more effective in reducing skin aging and skin cancer due to exposure to UV rays. One of the first products to launch containing TPF will be from the new physician-dispensed Elizabeth Arden Rx skincare line, launching at the annual American Academy of Dermatology meeting later this month in Denver, Colorado.
